This calculator estimates the financial impact of vendor management inefficiencies based on organizational parameters. The algorithm uses a fixed baseline case study with an inefficiency rating of 75/100, where 7 stakeholders identified 2,140 hours of wasted time (extrapolated to 4,586 hours for the full team of 15), valued at £573,214 annually.

The baseline assessment included capability scores of 5.5/10 for process effectiveness, data utilization, and communication, with a hybrid system infrastructure (office tools + purpose-built systems). This baseline organization is rated as size 6/10 on our organizational scale.

Calculation method

All parameters contribute to a single weighted ratio that adjusts the baseline. The calculation uses the following weightings:
